Coral AI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our software and website. This policy is drafted in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 of India.

2. Data We Collect

To provide our services and enforce licensing, we collect the following limited data points:

• Hardware Identifiers (HWID): A unique hash generated from your system components (Motherboard/CPU) to lock your license key to your specific device. This prevents unauthorized sharing.
• IP Address & Network Data: Logged during license activation and verification to prevent abuse and ensure regional compliance.
• Usage Logs: Minimal operational logs (e.g., "Voice Command Activated", "Error 404") to debug issues and improve system stability. We do not record or upload your voice audio or microphone data to any permanent server storage; processing is done via secure, transient API sessions.
• Trial Information: For free trial users, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and HWID during trial sign-up. This data is used to generate your trial license, prevent duplicate free trials (limited to one per email address), and facilitate seamless upgrades to paid plans. Trial start date, expiry date, and trial status are stored for trial lifecycle management.
• Location Data: If you use location features (Pro/Ultra Elite), your approximate location may be determined via GPS, Wi-Fi networks, or IP address. This data is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. Location data is used solely to provide location-based services (weather, nearby places, directions).

3. Data Protection & Security

We earnestly implement reasonable security practices and procedures as required by Section 43A of the IT Act, 2000. Your HWID and license Keys are encrypted using RSA-2048 Military-Grade Encryption standards. We utilize secure HTTPS (TLS 1.2+) channels for all server communications. While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to third parties. We may disclose information only if required by Indian law, a court order, or a directive from a government agency (e.g., CERT-In) in accordance with statutory requirements.
